To the man who helped to shape my dreams and find my roar - thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Maurice Sendak, Rest In Peace. 1928-2012.

Where The Wild Things Are was one of my favourite books whilst i was a child and even growing up and becoming an adult, i still sit down and read it and lose myself in the true meaning of what Maurice Sendak was representing. He showed children the importance of imagination, whilst also saying that although it is good to escape reality sometimes, home and family will always be there waiting when you feel lonely.
